Kobe- April 4, 2013
Chris had been wanting to see Kobe for a long time, so we finally made a visit during Spring vacation. We started by taking the cable car up to the obe Nunobiki Herb Gardens on Mt. Rokko. We then walked down the mountain, past the Nunobiki Waterfall. We ended up in the Kitano district, which is famous for it's old, foreign-style houses. We paid to go into the Italian House, the English House and Ben's House (America). We ended our day by eating at The Old Spagehtii Factory in Kobe's Harborland. This is a restaurant that Michael's family used to often eat at when he was a kid (in Eugene & Portland, OR). It was exactly the same as he rememberd (except for the spumoni ice cream!) Natsukashii!
